Live poker at 1Red is casino poker: you play against the dealer, not against other players, at tables streamed in HD around the clock. Four Evolution games make up the poker section — Casino Hold'em, Ultimate Texas Hold'em, Three Card Poker and Caribbean Stud Poker — each with fixed pay tables and optional side bets. 18+.

Casino poker explained

There are two very different things called online poker. In a poker room, players compete against each other for a shared pot, and the house takes a fee. In casino poker, which is what 1Red's live tables offer, every player competes only against the dealer: there are no rivals to bluff or read, and results are paid from a fixed pay table.

That makes casino poker simpler and steadier: the odds of each bet are the same round after round, and a hand never depends on what another player does. A professional croupier deals each round on camera, and the tables run 24/7.

Casino Hold'em

Casino Hold'em takes the structure of Texas Hold'em and turns it into a duel with the dealer. You get two hole cards, five community cards are dealt to the board, and the stronger five-card hand wins. A flush or better triggers the Ante bonus, which pays extra even when the dealer fails to qualify.

Ultimate Texas Hold'em

The most tactical of the four. You can raise before the flop, on the turn or at the river, and the earlier you commit, the larger the raise you are allowed — up to four times the Ante before the flop. Confident starting hands can be backed early; weaker ones can wait for more cards.

Three Card Poker

Three Card Poker strips poker down to essentials: three cards for you, three for the dealer, one decision, and a round settled in seconds. There are no community cards and no raising across several streets. The Pair Plus side bet pays on any pair or better, whatever the dealer holds.

Caribbean Stud Poker

Caribbean Stud is five-card stud against the dealer, with a progressive jackpot attached. The jackpot grows until a royal flush claims the whole pool, which makes this the table for players who like the idea of a headline win.

Hand rankings

All four games use the standard poker hierarchy. From lowest to highest: high card, pair, two pair, three of a kind, straight, flush, full house, four of a kind, straight flush and royal flush. A pair beats a high card, a flush beats a straight, and the royal flush tops everything.

The one decision

Whatever the variant, the heart of casino poker is a single choice once you see your cards: play — add a further bet and back your hand against the dealer — or fold and give up the Ante. Ultimate Texas Hold'em spreads that choice across several moments; Three Card Poker squeezes it into one.

Side bets and the jackpot

All side bets are optional; the main game plays out the same without them.

Where beginners should start

Three Card Poker is the easiest entry point: the rules take a minute to learn, each round is short and there is only one decision to make. Once the rhythm feels natural, Casino Hold'em adds community cards, and Ultimate Texas Hold'em adds the timing of raises.

Whichever you choose, the house keeps an edge over time; poker skill against other players does not apply here, because there are no other players to beat.
